Subject: [FAST News] --Alert--FAST Notes--Annual Parent Meeting/Practice Cancellation + More

To FAST Parents:

A note that we will be holding our Short Course Seasonal All-Parent Orientation Meeting Wednesday September 23rd in the Wilkerson-Greines conference room.
This is a VERY helpful meeting for new parents to FAST to help explain how our team works. We have information sessions on various topics that aid newer parents on becoming comfortable with the flow of operations on our team.
We strongly encourage our parents to attend this meeting.

Also, we have Coach/Parent individual group meetings beginning after the General Meeting. These are listed below. This is a great time to get to meet your coach in person, get a feel for what is happening in your swimmer's group and to ask your coach any questions you may have.

And please mark Saturday October 10th on your calendar. This will be the date for our annual Black vs. Blue Intersquad meet. This is always a fun, low key way for our team to kick off the short course season and highly encourage ALL team members on FAST to sign up and take part from Barracudas to Masters. All are welcome!! There will be more information regarding sign ups at the Orientation Meeting.

Also, an important note!! This Thursday, September 24th, there will be NO Practice for ALL Groups! We were late in receiving the FWISD home swim meet schedule and this Thursday, the FWISD has it's High School Time Trials at Wilkerson. This involves all schools for the FWISD schools with some swimmers who have never competed in a high school level swim meet. In order to allow for a less crowded, and easier atmosphere for those swimmers first meet, we will not practice that evening.
Please also NOTE -- that Coach Janet's Parent meeting, which was scheduled for that night has been re-scheduled to a different date (listed below).
